Better use of health and social data requires a new client-oriented approach. The targets defined by the Ministry of Social Affairs and Health in its draft bill of 11 August, calling for more versatile deployment of datasets, are achievable. This requires, however, the establishment of a new national centre responsible for data disclosure, data access authorisation, and availability data maintenance.
