The European Environment Agency (EEA) is an agency of the European Union supporting sustainable development by providing timely, targeted, relevant and reliable information to policymaking agents and the public. The EEA contributes to the circular economy knowledge base in co-operation with its relevant partners and networks, including the European Environment Observation and Information Network (Eionet). A range of reports on the circular economy and resource efficiency published by the EEA will be showcased at WCEF. Prepared on the basis of growing insights from science and innovation, they aim to support Europe’s economy to become more circular and to realise its full potential.
