The Platform for Accelerating the Circular Economy (PACE)

The Platform for Accelerating the Circular Economy (PACE) is a public-private collaboration mechanism and project accelerator for the circular economy.

The Platform:

• Develops blended financing models, in particular in developing and emerging economies
• Helps create and adjust enabling policy frameworks to address specific barriers to advancing the circular economy
• Brings the private and public sector into public-private collaborations to scale impact

PACE is co-chaired by Philips, the Global Environment Facility and UN Environment, in collaboration with Accenture Strategy, the Ellen MacArthur Foundation and the International Resource Panel as knowledge partners. The World Economic Forum currently hosts and facilitates the initiative.
