World Resources Forum Association (WRFA)

Published

WRFA is an independent non-profit international organisation that serves as a platform connecting and fostering knowledge exchange on resources management amongst business leaders, policy-makers, NGOs, scientists and the public. WRFA is engaged in making sustainable use of resources worldwide a reality through its several activities, among them the annual World Resources Forum (WRF) conference and the Sustainable Recycling Industries (SRI) Program.

The stand will present progress made and insights on how the WRFA is striving to foster circular economy worldwide by means of documentation materials and an animated video about the importance of sustainable recycling and the circular economy. Furthermore, the SRI program will show its pilot projects in e-waste recycling in Latin America, Africa and India, and how worldwide ISO standards can work towards mainstreaming the global recycling sector and contribute to business opportunities and improved standards of living. WRFA staff will permanently be available for talks with participants and actively collect feedback and ideas about how to put circular economy in practice.
