The amount of data constantly grows, and managing it will be increasingly important for organisations. The biggest new opportunities in the data economy are related to cooperation between companies and organisations. No single company can meet all the needs of its customers, but in flexible business ecosystems, companies can work together to create seamless services for end users. Data spaces make such flexibility possible by offering digital infrastructure for sharing and combining data between organisations.
The implementation technologies and governance solutions of data spaces evolve rapidly. Sitra has published two working papers that give a snapshot of the current development:
- Towards a Holistic EU Data Governance – looks at the governance issues on three levels: European level, national level and in data spaces.
- Technology Landscape of Data Spaces – overviews the developing data spaces technology field and recommendations to support data space builders.
At this event, you will hear from the experts the key findings from both working papers.
