Join us to co-design the future of Lappeenranta and Europe! The PSLifestyle project ran in eight European countries aims to enable a good and sustainable life for everyone. As part of the project, a new online tool is being developed for citizens, based on carbon footprint. In Finland, the project is carried out by Sitra, and workshops in Lappeenranta are organised in co-operation with the Lappeenranta-Lahti University of Technology.
Join us in developing a new online tool for building sustainable lifestyles together with other students from Lappeenranta and discover the challenges and opportunities that we all face when trying to live a good life with the environment in mind. We want the online tool to meet the needs of all of us, and we want to hear your opinion. By participating in the workshops, you will not only get to test the tool, but you will also be involved in creating its features and functions!
The workshop is held in two parts: the first workshop outlines an overview of what a good and sustainable life is. In the second part, we test the online tool, get acquainted with its features and gather ideas about the service and its use.
The workshops are held on 18th and 20th of May and the meetings start at 11.30 am and end around 3 pm. You are warmly welcome to join both workshops. Workshops are held at LUT’s University campus. Participation does not require any prior knowledge or preparation. The event is free of charge but requires prior registration.
Workshop is run by Sitra’s experts Dushyant Manchandia and Henna Kurki and from LUT’s side Junior Researcher Majad Qureshi.
Both workshops will accommodate 30 first enrolled. Registration closes on 10th May at noon. Please register here.
