Reform and change are key elements of the Isaacus project, as we endeavour to facilitate the use of well-being data from a multitude of sources. Reform means increased co-operation and changes to work methods and processes in many organisations. A collective will and shared efforts are needed to get the project to the goal line. Helena Åhman will be our guide for the topic of the day under the rubric “Board of Directors – a shaper of the future”.
Progress has been made in legislative efforts led by the Ministry of Social Affairs and Health and the draft Act on Safe Use of Health and Social Data is currently in the consultation round. The content of the draft Act will be explained by Pia-Liisa Heiliö and Hannu Hämäläinen. We will also be given tools for implementation by experts from the National Institute for Health and Welfare (THL), Statistics Finland, Kela (Social Insurance Institution of Finland) and actors from the business sector. The seminar will close with Jaana Sinipuro, who will talk about the progress of the Isaacus project.
