New directions in consumption: from too much stuff to the hunt for the perfect object

What does the future of consumption look like? What kind of products will consumers want in the future and what will they value?

Join us to find out about the new international perspectives and anticipate the direction of the future consumer markets. Stuff in Flux, a report that has been prepared on three continents and sheds light on how consumers’ relationship with physical objects is undergoing unforeseen changes, will be presented in the event. New ways of consuming generate new business opportunities and will transform the markets.

Anneleen Waterloos, the global head of business and consumer intelligence of the furniture giant IKEA, and Oskar Korkman, the managing director of the marketing strategy consultancy Alice Labs, are the speakers in the event. In addition, Satu Kalliokulju, Head of Consumer Excellence at Fiskars, and Anniina Nurmi, a specialist in responsible consumption, will join the panel to discuss the topic. After the panel, there will be an opportunity to network and have further discussions.

Breakfast will be served. The event is free and aimed especially at companies operating in the consumer markets. The event will be conducted in English.

Oskar Korkman’s presentation on May 9th, 2017
