New Investment in Romania

The event highlights the business case for increased low-carbon investments in Romania.  High-level panels will focus on stimulating investments in the energy sector and action on low-hanging fruits. Climate mitigation in cities will also be discussed.

Speakers include MEP Norica Nicolai from the European Parliament, Minister of Environment in Romania Gratiela-Leocadia Gavrilescu, Deputy Director Eliot Withington of the Prince of Wales’s Corporate Leaders Group, Executive Director Baroness Worthington of Environmental Defense Fund and Leading Specialist Janne Peljo from Sitra, who will highlight the results from the Nordic Green to Scale study.
