The Portugal eHealth Summit is organised this year as part of the Portuguese Presidency of the Council of the European Union. The summit aims to contribute to the digital transformation of public administration.
The themes of Sitra’s first session are public involvement and demographic differences in sharing data. The panelists share their expertise and discuss recent studies and consultations with the industry, health professionals and consumers.
The second session brings together panelists to share their views on data sharing in Europe and how the European Health Data Space enables a better environment for business, research and innovation.
Sitra coordinates the joint action Towards the European Health Data Space, TEHDAS, which boosts knowledge-based decision-making, sustainable health systems and smart innovations by developing common practices for the cross-border sharing and wider use of health data in Europe.
