The workshop is jointly hosted by Renmin University of China (RUC), The Finnish Innovation Fund (Sitra), Green & Low Carbon Development Foundation (GDF) and Green Innovation Development Center (iGDP) together. Experts from government, enterprises, academia and media in China and Finland are invited to share their experiences in low-carbon technology innovation and discuss how China would enhance its low-carbon technology innovation and deployment according to national innovation-drive strategy to implement INDC in the post-Paris era.
This dialogue is boosted by the China results release of the Green to Scale project, where Renmin University, Sitra and 9 other recognized international institutions show how better scaling up just 17 low-carbon solutions could cut 25% of global emissions by 2030. Successful business cases on low-carbon technology innovation and deployment both from China and Finland will also be shared.
