We are asking questions such as: What is fairness in health? What role does trust play in data-driven health services? What needs to change and who needs to act? Most of all, we are launching “The Fair Health Data Challenge“.
The challenge is a unique fair data-driven solution contest aspiring to identify existing or soon-to-be-released European health and wellbeing solutions that are based on data sharing and fair values. The candidates will be evaluated against the following viewpoints: managing one’s personal data (data sovereignty), user-friendliness & accessibility, data sharing model, fairness factor, security & confidentiality and trustworthiness of the solution as a whole.
Also you will hear the latest development in planning of the EU joint action “The European Health Data Space TEHDAS”.
Sitra’s working paper “Towards Trustworthy Health Data Ecosystems” that offers guidelines for a human-centric, fair data economy will give a European vision on digital health services. The paper includes transformation goals of data-based health systems, challenges, a call to action and recommendations for new person-generated data with complementary expert opinions and reviews.
The event will be recorded.
Looking forward to seeing you online!
