Arturo de la Fuente is Deputy Head of the Eurostat unit E2 – “environmental statistics and accounts; sustainable development”. He is in charge of environmental-economic accounts for Eurostat and has been leading the Eurostat work on the circular economy, including the set–up and maintenance of the EU monitoring framework for the circular economy. Arturo has been with Eurostat for 19 years, working in several positions in national accounts, labour market statistics and environmental accounts. Previously he worked for the national statistical office of Spain.
