Elina has about 10 years of experience of European co-operation in the field of health research. She has worked as a project manager and work package lead in various EU research projects in Finland and Sweden, and she has gained experience in research funding and international co-operation during her time at the Academy of Finland.
Elina’s professional interests include societal impact (of research), participation, and systemic change towards sustainable development, where health and well-being are understood in a broad sense.

Elina enjoys running forest trails, swimming in the sea and going on family trips to museums and other interesting places. She is inspired by meeting people and doing things together, both at work and in her free time. The best ideas are created and realised together!
