Emma Nordbäck

Emma Nordbäck, D.Sc.(Tech.), is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Management and Organization at Hanken School of Economics in Finland. Emma has a multidisciplinary background with a master’s degree in user-centered design processes and a PhD in organizational psychology and leadership. She has been studying virtual teamwork and shared leadership, specialising in globally distributed teams as well as new forms of work that bridge boundaries. She also investigates technologies that advance innovation and promote an empowered workforce. Emma is passionately interested in exploring whatever the future of work has in store.
