Gemedo Dalle Tussie is an associate professor of vegetation ecology and biodiversity management at the Center for Environmental Science, Addis Ababa University. He is former minister for Environment, Forest and Climate Change of Ethiopia and has also served as director general for the Ethiopian Biodiversity Institute.
