Hannele Pokka

Hannele Pokka has had an extensive career in the Finnish government.

She started her career at the Ministry of Education and went on to work as a legal counsellor at the Central Union of Agricultural Producers and Forest Owners (MTK). She was a Member of the Parliament for many years and Minister of Justice for a few years. Hannele also held the position of Governor of the Country of Lapland for over a decade. She has held numerous political, academic and societal positions of trust, some also in the field of business in Finland and in international organisations.
