Henrik Ehrnrooth is a business leader and an ambassador for the sustainable development of the world’s forests in the context of the emerging bioeconomy.
He started his career in Pöyry as an economist, then went on to become partner and co-owner of Jaakko Pöyry Oy before being appointed as President and CEO of the company. Today, he is Chairman of the Board of three organisations – Pöyry PLC, an international consulting and engineering company, Otava Group Ltd, a leading Finnish graphic publisher, and Climate Leadership Council, which has an overarching goal to actively participate in the mitigation of climate change. He is also a Member of the Board of the Marcus Wallenberg Foundation. His previous positions include Chairman of the Board of YIT Corporation and Chairman of the Board of Caverion Corporation.
