Ignasi Fontanals has experience in energy efficiency and city resilience.
He is co-founder of OptiCits, a start-up from Barcelona at Universitat Ramon Llull that helps city experts to assess and manage resilience of urban services & infrastructures. He is member of City Protocol & BCN Urban Resilience Partnership for the City Resilience Profiling Programme – UN Habitat. Before founding OptiCits, he worked in multinational and SME companies introducing new technologies and new services in cities. He is also doing his investigation on resilience and business models at the IQS-Universitat Ramón Llull.
