John Blankendaal

Co-founder, Managing Director, Brainport Industries

John Blankendaal (1961) is co-founder and Managing Director of Brainport Industries. He is active in the manufacturing industry for almost 20 years. Furthermore, he is the initiator of the Brainport Industries Campus, which brings education, innovation and production under one roof.

I am also responsible for the Factory of the Future innovation programme with a special focus on digitalisation and sustainability, which is implemented with stakeholders on the Brainport Industries Campus. One of the results is the establishment of the SCSN foundation (Smart Connected Supplier Network), of which John is the executive director.
