Kai Merivuori

Kai Merivuori has a solid track record within the international softwood sawmill industry.

He is presently Managing Director of Finnish Sawmills Association which promotes the interests of the independent sawmill industry. Prior to that, he worked as associate principal at Pöyry Management Consulting Oy. He has also experience in export sales and marketing from the time he worked at Metsä-Serla Oy. In addition, he is a member of Finnish Forest Council and Finnish Bioeconomy Panel and board member in Puuinfo Oy and European Organisation of Sawmill Industry (EOS).
