Lars Albäck

Lars Albäck, born in Ostrobotnia in Finland has been the CEO of Vastuu Group since 2006. His passion for creating and innovating for Trust between parties, has enabled the creation of the Vastuu Group success story now spreading in Europe and beyond.

Lars has a proven executive management track record and over 20 years of experience driving growth in the Software Industry. Prior to joining Vastuu Group, Lars worked as a Partnerships Director at Trema dealing with Treasury Management Customers and Central Banks. He also worked as a Global Account Manager at Hewlett-Packard responsible for global sales and partnership activities within the Telecom Sector. Lars also been part of several Finnish startups going global. At Vastuu Group Lars has lead the transformation of the non-hierarchical leadership concept and is a strong believer in purpose driven leadership in today´s modern organizations.

The experience from other industries, especially Telecom has helped in visioning “roaming” standard for data movement across Europe. He is a strong advocate for the Platform based economy.

Lars’ dream is to create international and cross segment Ecosystem that helps creating better living conditions for people and sustainable growth possibilities for companies. The goal is to combine the Vastuu Group innovations Platform of Trust and MyData Share to create a human centric solutions for cities. The Trust based approach has been a key component in operating between the authorities and the private sector.

Lars holds a Masters degree in Business from Abo Academy University and loves all kinds of sports. In his spare time, he is a devoted soccer coach for juniors in his home town Inkoo.
