Niina Nevala

Who?

Niina works as a project assistant for the New Forms of Participation project, which is part of the Democracy and participation theme. Niina’s areas of responsibility include organising event and stakeholder meetings, customer relationship management, project support and assisting with procurement and contracting processes.

What?

Niina is your contact person if you want to organise meetings or collaborate on events. She has experience in the field of intellectual property and project work, and has worked in a variety of customer services roles with Finnish and international clients. With a Master of Arts (MA) degree, Niina approaches things from a humanities perspective and loves working with people from different fields and backgrounds. In her previous roles, Niina has learnt the power of a customer-oriented and collaborative attitude, which is crucial in stakeholder cooperation.

What else?

Niina is passionate about things that promote well-being. She enjoys (ice-)swimming, exotic and the familiar Finnish sauna culture, films and ballgames, both as a participant and a spectator. She loves walking and hiking, canoeing on the sea or just chilling out on a picnic. Niina is also a museums enthusiast and believes that in the future more and more art experiences will be interactive.
