I am a Senior Advisor in Sitra’s Innovations function. My work focuses on the issues of economic growth and national competitiveness, especially when they relate to industrial and innovation policy. I also participate in foresight and training with an approach based on economics.
I am an economist specialising in enterprise and industrial research and have a PhD in Economics from Vanderbilt University in the United States. I have conducted research and provided consultation on industrial and innovation policy for more than two decades. My lifelong occupational mission is to promote the well-being of today’s and future Finns by means of thinking and influencing based on economic research.
