Sumio Tanaka

Sumio Tanaka carries out EV projects with remarkable achievement.

After graduating from the Tokyo Institute of Technology, he entered Hewlett-Packard Japan, Ltd.. He then graduated with an MBA from the Netherworlds and joined SoftBank Corp. After engaging in the launch and expansion of MVNO business for an internationally influential company, he developed a fleet management system which became the core technology of the current passenger transportation system called Packet Rapid Transit (“PRT”). In 2016, he started a demonstration project of PRT in the Philippines aiming to bring convenient transportation, reduce energy consumption and create job opportunities. After he successfully demonstrated PRT, it became a regular community transportation service.
