Tatu Torniainen

I work in Sitra’s Sustainability programme. The Sustainability programme is aimed at promoting solutions that strengthen the natural capital, people’s well-being and the economy in our society.

I have a Doctor of Science degree in forestry and long work experience in international forest policy and steering methods that promote the sustainable use of forests. At Sitra, I am particularly interested in solutions that promote the reconciliation of climate change, biodiversity and the economy in the land use sector. I have worked in central government and conducted research.
