Tiina Kähö provides a public-private co-operating model to circular cities. She is the Executive Director at Helsinki Metropolitan Smart & Clean Foundation, which is a five-year “step change” project comprised of 29 public and private partners from the cities in the Helsinki Metropolitan area, businesses, universities, research institutions and state administration. Smart & Clean works to orchestrate multi-stakeholder ecosystems, which can lead the way in making the significant changes needed to improve the scale and speed of climate and circular solutions in areas such as housing and renovation, smart mobility solutions and the closed circle of plastics.
Tiina has more than 20 years of experience in the sustainability and energy business. She led Sitra’s focus area on industrial transformation to a carbon-neutral society 2014-2016. She has also held several executive positions within Pöyry Plc, where she was in charge of environmental consulting businesses.
