Tim Kasten has 30+ years of professional experience in development and environment, which spans from the grass-roots, to national, and regional and global international levels.
He is Deputy Director of the UN Environment Programme (UNEP), Economy Division in Paris. Tim has been working with UNEP over four duty stations covering work in ecosystems, climate change, chemicals and waste, marine pollution and resource efficiency. Tim was also with the United States Environmental Protection Agency in Washington, DC, working on national and international water pollution and hazardous materials programmes. He is a biologist with additional studies in environmental resource management and public administration.
