Tuuli Hietaniemi

I am a senior lead in Sitra’s Programmes function. In Sitra’s programmes, we help Finnish society find solutions to the most difficult problems of our time. We work together with our partners to introduce into practice effective solutions for responding to these challenges.

I have more than 15 years of experience in making societal change happen. At Sitra, I have worked in different positions related to promoting ecological sustainability. I have a master’s degree in social sciences and I am infinitely interested in how societies can flourish within the limits of nature’s carrying capacity.
